The novel “I AM HEARTLESS – A REAL CONFESSION “would be the first English novel that is based on the lively surrounding and energetic youthful campus life of the Kurukshetra University. The novel has been penned down by MR. VINIT K BANSAL, an ex student of this esteemed university, who now works as a banker. It shall be inaugurated at 2 pm on December 23^rd, 2011, at Shrimadbhagwadgita Sadan, by director of youth and cultural programme department, MR. ANOOP LATHER.

Mr Vinit K. Bansal now works as a banker in the state bank of India, Daryaganj branch, New Delhi and is also involved in writing novels. College and universities are not only the abode of knowledge but also a garden where the flowers of love and fondness blossom and this is what Mr. Bansal has tried to capture in his novel.  Not only one, but many love stories provide true essence to his novel. The language used is simple and lucid and it just takes the reader along the book smoothly without the reader losing the interest or acquiring an ability to predict the next move by the characters.

The novel explains how the innocent heart of a simple guy gets blackened with evil desires and how the sea of love that is heart was; itself gets drowned in an ocean of melancholy. The story revolves around VIREN, about his encompassing love, dedication, eccentricity, friendship and overall his discovery of his true love and also the anguish of losing it due to his obstinacy and self-centeredness.

Mr. Vinit says “it is not necessary for every love story to have a happy ending for many incidents in our life too, do not end on a happy note always. A beautiful life begins to feel as a burden when one does not know what one wants in life”. He further adds “this just is not a novel, rather it portrays before us, such attributes of human nature that come to surface only when a person loses something “
